Prior to 01 Dec 1998, the mkentry.c for the 14th IOCCC produced a rule set of "1998-1" instead of "1998". This a mistake. Landon forgot to remove the "-1" that was added due to an 1996 problem that does not effect the current contest.
The official mkentry.c has been changed to remove this "-1" from the rule set. In the mean time, we will allow entries for both the "1998" as well as the "1998-1" rulesets. Those that sent in their contest entries with the "1998-1" ruleset do not need to resend them.
